Staying at Jeff Walton’s ‘resort’ Vernonia Springs was fantastic. We arrive quite late (10:00-ish) but he was up and extremely welcoming. The yurt was wonderful! My wife and I had a great sleep (too good;)) on the queen sized bed and the small remote controlled electric space heater did a great job keeping us warm when the temperature dropped that night. Jeff made us great breakfast in the morning and we had a great chat about the property, the yurt and his future plans. Unfortunately we had to head out after only one night but I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone… and we will definitely plan a longer stay at Vernonia Springs. Review by Jason, 09.23.16.
Winter Wonderland! We rented (Huntley Lodge) for a large family Christmas weekend. Truly a winter wonderland location! Sledding, snow football, perfect large gathering space and individual sleeping cabins for solitude. On-site caretaker (All Seasons Vacation Rentals) was fabulous! Lori Lynn (Cardinal Financial) made the home buying experience terrific. She was very helpful and thorough throughout the loan process, from prequel to closing. 
She went out of her way to make sure the process was efficient and easy. Our loan closed in less than 30 days which was helpful considering we were competing with other offers. She also took the time to be present at the signing. She was instrumental in working with the real estate agents through some complex issues and we ended up with the home we wanted in part because of Lori’s help through those issues. I was attracted to LeafGuard because I live in a very wooded area. I had heard it was a high quality product. When I contacted LeafGuard Central Tx., they were very professional. And when they came, they were very efficient. It took only one day. They followed all of the Homeowners’ Association rules and cleaned everything well. I was very pleased with the outcome.
